About Me

I have received my BAS in Industrial Biotechnology from Santa Fe College and am currently employed as a lab technician at the Foundation for Applied Molecular Evolution. This past summer as part of my degree track I participated in an international internship at UNESP in Brazil. Click here for details.

I currently work on research regarding recombinant protein expression and integration of AEGIS base pairs into biological DNA replication processes. I plan to pursue a graduate level degree in the coming years in the molecular biology field. With a graduate degree I hope to advance my personal research and passion in biofuels. Renewable energy resources I believe will be derived from the knowledge extracted from the molecular levels of cellular biology. It is my dream to create a biofuel system that could be utilized by the world for the replacement of gasoline. For my full research proposal go to the Biofuel Research tab.
